Mastery Bridge Features & Installation Video
The Mastery Bridge installs on these Fender® guitars:
- Jazzmaster®
- Jaguar®
- Mustang®
- Bass VI®
- Telecaster® with Bigsby® Vibrato
- Jag-Stang®
Mastery Bridge Close - Four intonation screws are used instead of six, allowing the string to freely go from the saddle to the vibrato without any chance of interference.
Mastery Bridge Front 3/4 View - The precisely curved saddles along with the four height adjustment screws allow you to set-up to nearly any common fingerboard radius, from 7.25" onward. This also eliminates annoying "buzzing" or rattle associated with previous designs.
Mastery Bridge Rear View - The Mastery Bridge polished smooth finish, combined with height adjustment screws that don't stick out above the saddles; no need for a bridge cover.
Mastery Bridge 3/4 Front View - Every part of the Mastery Bridge is made of the highest quality, non-corrosive materials to protect against any rust.
Mastery Bridge Front View - Unlike the previous "rock post assembly" design, the mounting posts on the Mastery Bridge fit snugly into the diameter of vintage and modern Fender-style thimbles, ensuring your bridge will not change position during performance or between string changes.
Fender® Jaguar® with Mastery Bridge - Every part of the Mastery Bridge is made of the highest quality, non-corrosive materials to protect against any rust.
Mastery Bridge Front 3/4 View - The mounting post design of the Mastery Bridge has a dramatic effect on the transfer of string-to-body energy, giving your guitar much greater resonance that you'll even hear acoustically.
Mastery Bridge Rear 3/4 View - Each saddle features two drop-in stainless swivels, permitting each of the four individual intonation adjustment screws to work independently for precise intonation.
Mastery Bridge Rear 3/4 View - The patent-pending Mastery Bridge features a unique saddle design not found on any previous guitar bridge, a result of nearly a year worth of research and development.
Mastery Bridge Rear View - The Mastery Bridge saddle and base design permits the string to freely go from the saddle to the tailpiece of a Mustang vibrato, without any chance of interference from the base or intonation adjustment screws.
Mastery Bridge Front View - The mounting post design of the Mastery Bridge has a dramatic effect on the transfer of string-to-body energy, giving your guitar much greater resonance that you'll even hear acoustically.

John Woodland and Mario Costello formed WOODELLO Industries in the spring of 2008 with one goal in mind - create an entirely new bridge design to replace the problematic Jazzmaster/Mustang OEM bridge. Woodland, a Jazzmaster® user himself, has 16 years of experience as a professional luthier. Costello is a musician as well and has 10 years of experience doing prototype machining and mechanical design work. Months of research and development went into the process, with many prototype bridges made and then tested by numerous clients of Woodland's.
As a reminder - OEM Fender® bridge covers will not fit atop of the Mastery Bridge. Also, the bridge cannot be used in conjunction with a Jaguar®-style mute, as the mute base-plate holes are too small to accommodate our post design. The Mastery Bridge will easily fit into the Jaguar's® body thimbles, however, you will simply need to unscrew the mute base-plate prior to installing your Mastery Bridge.
The Mastery Bridge requires no modification to guitars originally equipped with Fender®'s "floating" style bridge and stock body thimbles. The bridge easily fits into vintage guitars as well as new and used American or imported guitars with these thimbles. If your guitar has been fitted with an alternative style bridge and you would like to use our bridge, contact us and we will be happy to assist you.
